Princess Diana’s iconic diamond and pearl necklace is up for auction

Princess Diana’s iconic style moments have helped to shape the face of fashion for decades, and now, in a rare move that has got the industry talking, one of her necklaces is up for auction. The incredible piece of jewellery is expected to bring in a tidy sum of million (£10 million).
Diana wore the necklace to the Royal Albert Hall for a performance of the balletSwan Lakein June 1997. The occasion was one of her last public appearances before she tragically died in a car accident in August that year. Her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, recently confirmed that a statue will be erected to commemorate her life this year, in honour of the 20th anniversary of her death.
